Downly is a free, browser-based tool for saving public Instagram media in its original quality — built to be fast, private and simple on any device.
Paste the link to a public reel, video, photo, story or carousel and Downly fetches the original file straight from Instagram, then hands it to your browser to save. There is nothing to install, no account to create and no watermark added.
We built Downly to do its job without collecting you. It requires no login, keeps no copy of the media it fetches and stores no history of the links you submit. Traffic runs over HTTPS, and download links are cryptographically signed and expire within minutes so they cannot be reused or shared.
Downly only ever accesses content that is already publicly visible to a logged-out visitor. It never asks for your Instagram password and has no way to reach private accounts or followers-only content — by design, not by policy alone.
